The Washington Water Trust (WWT) is a non-governmental organization that purchases or leases ecologically significant water rights from voluntary public or private sellers, and then dedicates the acquired water to in-stream use to increase tributary flows. The WWT has been working since 1998 to meet the needs of fish, farmers, and other local stakeholders, and to bring new partners to the table for long-term and effective conservation strategies.
